This page will explain (1) how to get from the airport to your hotel or the conference venue, (2) how to get to the conference venue from your hotel.
The conference takes place at Copenhagen Business School in Porcelænshaven, which was formerly the Royal Copenhagen Porcelain Factory.
Conference address: Porcelænshaven 26, 4th floor, 2000 Frederiksberg (Google Maps).
1. From airport to hotel or conference venue
You can take public transport or a taxi from the airport to your hotel.
METRO
The Metro in Copenhagen departs directly from the arrival hall at Copenhagen Airport every 4-6 minutes during the day and evening hours, and 15-20 minutes intervals during the night. The Metro is faster and cheaper than a taxi. When you enter the arrival hall (Terminal 3), you continue straight ahead to the opposite end of Terminal 3 where you can buy tickets for the metro at the DSB ticket counter or from a ticket machine. Please note that the ticket machines do not accept notes, only coins and cards such as the Dankort, VISA, etc. You need a three zones ticket (DKK 36 = app. 5 Euro) to go to either the city center or the conference venue. If you plan to stay in Copenhagen longer, purchase a 72-hour City Pass. The City Pass gives you unlimited access to buses, trains, metro and harbour buses in zones 1 – 4, which includes the centre of Copenhagen and to and from the airport. TAXI
A taxi ride is the most expensive way to get to and from the airport. A taxi from the airport to the hotel/CBS will cost about DKK 250-350 with a travel time of about 30-50 minutes, depending on the traffic. Taxi stands are located just outside Terminal 3.
Going to Hotel Kong Arthur or Ibsens hotel
If you are going to Hotel Kong Arthur take the Metro direction Vanløse (that is the only direction the metro is going from the airport) and get off at the Nørreport Metro station. The hotel is a 7 minute walk from the Metro station. Total travel time by Metro from the airport to Nørreport Metro station is about 15 minutes.
Going to Hotel Euroglobe
Take the Metro direction Vanløse and get off at Forum Station. The hotel is a 5 min. walk from the station.
The conference venue at CBS
If you are going to the conference venue at CBS take the Metro direction Vanløse and get off at the Fasanvej Metro station. The venue is a 5 minute walk from the Metro station. Total travel time by Metro from the airport to Fasanvej Metro station is about 20 minutes.
Going to Hotel Scandic Falkoner
Take the Metro direction Vanløse and get off at Frederiksberg Station. The hotel is a 5 min. walk from the station.
Going to Hotel Admiral
Take the Metro direction Vanløse and get off at Kongens Nytorv Station. The hotel is a 15 min. Walk from the station.
2. Getting to the conference venue from your hotel
The conference takes place at Copenhagen Business School, Porcelænshaven 24, 4th floor, 2000 Frederiksberg. When you arrive at the Venue, you can walk the stairs or take the elevator to the 4th floor. The conference is held at rooms 407 and 408. Use the journeyplanner to plan your specific route.
Staying at Hotel Kong Arthur or Ibsens hotel
If you are staying at the Hotel Kong Arthur, you can take a metro from Nørreport station – direction Vanløse, and get off at the Fasanvej metro station. From there, you have a 5 minute walk to get to the venue. A taxi will take 10-15 minutes, and will cost approximately 130 DKK (17 Euro).
Staying at Hotel Euroglobe
You can walk in about 25 min., or take the metro from Forum Station to Falkoner Station and walk south on Nordre Fasanvej for about 5 min.
Staying at Admiral Hotel
You take the Metro from Kgs. Nytorv towards Vanløse (M1 or M2 line) to Fasanvej Station. From there, you have a 5 minute walk to CBS at Porcelænshaven.
Staying at Hotel Scandic Falkoner
If you are staying at Hotel Scandic Falkoner you can walk from your hotel to the conference venue in less than 10 minutes.
Staying at Sct. Thomas Hotel
You can take the bus 9A towards Glostrup st. and get off at Fasanvej (Smallegade) stop. Or walk in about 25 min.
Asia House
The other half of the conference takes place at Asia House, Indiakaj 16, 2100 Copenhagen. There will be transportation from Copenhagen Business School, but if you decide not to make use of that you can get to Asia House from your hotel as well.
Staying at Hotel Kong Arthur or Ibsens hotel
You can take the S-train towards Klampenborg, Holte, Farum Østerport or Hillerød from Nørreport Station. You get off at Østerport Station, and walk for 15 minutes.
Staying at Hotel Euroglobe
You walk to Vesterport Station, which is a 10 minute walk. From Vesterport you can take the S-train towards Klampenborg, Holte, Farum, Østerport or Hillerød. You get off at Østerport Station and walk for 15 minutes.
Staying at Admiral Hotel
Asia House is within walking distance. Alternatively, take the Metro from Kgs. Nytorv towards Orientkaj (M4 line) to Østerport Station. From there, it is a 15 min. walk.
Staying at Hotel Scandic Falkoner
You take the Metro from Frederiksberg Station towards København H (M3 line) to Østerport Station. From there, it is a 15 min. walk.
Staying at Sct. Thomas Hotel
You walk for 10 minutes to Frederiksberg Allé Station and take the Metro towards København H (M3 line). You get off at Østerport Station and walk for 15 minutes.
